Rooms

At Kusatsu Now Resort Hotel, there are a total of 149 rooms across 13 different types. Among them, the open-air bath rooms popular among couples consist of 5 types, totaling 22 rooms. Especially noteworthy are the Terrace Open-air Bath Twin rooms on the premium floor (13 in total), featuring a spacious and liberating private terrace. Immerse yourself in the leisurely enjoyment of a hot spring bath directly sourced from the spring, making it an unforgettable and blissful experience for you (Room size: 32 square meters + Open-air bath terrace: 15 square meters).

The bright and modern atmosphere of the Standard Twin rooms (28 square meters) is available in a total of 36 rooms. The Japanese-Western style rooms (28 square meters) with twin beds and a tatami mat area of about 6 tatami mats each are available in a total of 60 rooms. Each room is equipped with internet access, LCD TV, humidifier air purifier, refrigerator, electric kettle, safety box, shower booth (or unit bath), toilet with bidet function, and a hairdryer. Choose your preferred room and create unforgettable memories during your stay.

Hot Spring Water flowing directly from the Source

Soaking in the hot springs leisurely provides healing for both the mind and body. That is the charm of a trip to Kusatsu. The indoor baths, supplied directly from the source, have two tubs with adjusted water volume and temperature: "Atsu-yu" (42 degrees Celsius) and "Nuru-yu" (40 degrees Celsius). The outdoor baths are typically between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius, but the temperature may vary depending on the ambient temperature. Naturally, the outdoor baths also feature a direct flow of spring water.

Kusatsu Onsen has approximately 100 springs, categorized into six major ones. Kusatsu Now Resort Hotel draws water from the most abundant source, the 'Bandai-ko' spring.

The 'Bandai-ko' spring originates from a mine shaft for sulfur mining on the middle slope of Mt. Moto-sirane. When you gaze at the mountains in Kusatsu, you'll notice steam rising high in a certain area— that's the location of this spring. After becoming a closed mine due to uncontrollable springing, it became a new source when operations began in 1975 to transport the water to the hot spring town.

Restaurants at Kusatsu Now Resort

Each restaurant takes pride in carefully selecting local ingredients from Gunma Prefecture and creating dishes featuring seasonal produce.

1F Buffet Restaurant "Jyurin Garden":

This winter, during dinner time, we are hosting the "Snow Crab Fair" until March 31, 2024. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of snow crabs alongside approximately 50 Japanese-Western-Chinese dishes. Available from December 1, 2023 (Friday) to March 31, 2024 (Sunday).

1F Japanese Restaurant "Cruiser":

Delight in the representative ingredient of Gunma, "Joshu Beef," prepared in "shabu-shabu," "sumibiyaki" (charcoal grilling), and "steak" styles. You can also enjoy local sake from Gunma to complement your meal.
